"But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better;
neither, if we eat not, are we the worse." 1 Corinthians 8:8

What you are about to read may seem both shocking and incredible at first, but many times people need to be emotionally shocked in order to be spiritually awakened. For centuries, to hundreds of millions of devout followers, the information presented here has generally been acknowledged as official church doctrine. This deception, propigated through a false priest class, is more commonly known as ... the Roman Catholic Mass.

In Their Own Words
    The Mass is a "sacrament" of the Roman Catholic Church in which the true sacrifice of the body and blood of Christ is supposedly made present on the altar by the words of consecration. Also known by different names; The Sacrament of the Eucharist, The Lord's Supper, The Breaking of Bread, The Holy Sacrifice and Holy Communion, the Mass is the heart and summit of the Roman Catholic Church. The Council of Trent, one of the most authoritative councils ever held by the Catholic Church, said of the Mass: "If anyone denieth that, in the sacrament of the most holy Eucharist, are contained truly, really, and substantially, the BODY and BLOOD together with the SOUL and DIVINITY of our Lord Jesus Christ, and consequently THE WHOLE CHRIST; but saith that He is only therein as in a sign, or in figure, or virtue; let him be anathema." And again; "If anyone saith that Christ given in the Eucharist, is EATEN spiritually only, and not also sacramentally and REALLY; let him be anathema." (see pages 81-84, Canons I & II; Dogmatic Canons & Decrees of the Council of Trent and Vatican Council I; ©1912; with the imprimatur: John Cardinal Farley, Archbishop of New York; Tan Books and Publishers, Inc., Rockford, Ill. Emphasis added.)

    The 1994 Catechism of the Catholic Church reaffirmed: "... by the consecration of the bread and wine there takes place a change of the whole substance of the BREAD into the substance of the BODY of Christ our Lord and of the whole substance of the WINE into the substance of his BLOOD. This change the holy Catholic Church has fittingly and properly called transubstantiation. The Eucharistic presence of Christ begins at the moment of the consecration and endures as long as the Eucharistic species subsists. Christ is present WHOLE and ENTIRE in each of the species and whole and entire in each of their parts, in such a way that the breaking of the bread does not divide Christ. Only validly ordained priests can preside at the Eucharist and consecrate the BREAD and WINE so that they BECOME the Body and Blood of the Lord." (See pages 347 & 355, Catechism of the Catholic Church; ©1994, Ligouri Publications, Ligouri Mo. Emphasis added.)

    Clearly, these authoritative quotations teach that the Mass is a sacrament of the Roman Catholic Church where the Catholic priest has the supposed imparted ability to magically transform the bread into the literal body of Jesus Christ (not figurative or symbolic), thus giving the bread both His soul and His divinity. Those who deny this to be true are anathematized (damned) by the Catholic Church. The wine too, is said to be changed into the actual blood of Christ. Condemnation also rests upon all those who disavow this doctrine of the church. In plainer words, Rome teaches that they are actually EATING the flesh and DRINKING the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ during the Mass and that by this INGESTION of the Creator, Christ enters into their body through the mouth.

    How do members of the Roman Catholic Church "receive Christ" into their body? By EATING Him. If this sounds offensive and blasphemous, that's because it is! If you get OFFENDED by the chart pictured above depicting "God" in the belly of man, then that just shows that YOU'VE GOT GOOD SENSE. It was the Lord Jesus Christ himself who stated; "Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is CAST OUT into the draught?", further explaining that "whatsoever is cast out" can only purge a man of MEATS (i.e. foods); not SINS (see Matt. 15:17 & Mark 7:18-19). Man's sinful conscience cannot be purged by meats from his stomach. Hebrews explains that carnal odinances of "meats and drinks" (like the Mass) can NEVER purge the conscience from sin (see Heb. 9:9-10)

The apostle Paul wrote; "But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse." (1 Cor. 8:8). The book of Romans professes that; "... the kingdom of God is NOT meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." (Rom. 14:17)

A Temple Made with Hands
    The small round wafer of unleavened bread used in the Mass is undoubtedly prepared with the proper ingredients and baked in a kitchen somewhere before being packaged and shipped to your local Catholic Church, there to be magically changed into the Creator of the Universe. Yet the Scriptures declare;

"Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands..." Acts 7:48

"God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands" Acts 17:24

    Nowhere in the Bible does God send His Holy Spirit into dead, inanimate objects, whether they be silver, gold, wood, stone or bread. The Scriptures reveal that it was the unsaved heathen who gave divine attributes to lifeless objects. Psalms 115:4-8 says: "Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: They have ears but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them." No true Catholic who believes and obeys the cannons and decrees of the Roman Catholic Church can deny that the "consecrated Eucharist" has a mouth, eyes, ears, hands and feet, yet the transformed bread CANNOT speak, see, hear, touch or walk. The Council of Trent further adds: "If anyone saith that, in the holy sacrament of the Eucharist, Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, is not to be adored with worship ... nor to be borne about [i.e. carried] in processions ... let him be anathema" (page 83, Canon VI; Dogmatic Canons and Decrees of the Council of Trent and Vatican Council I; ©1912, Tan Books and Publishers, Inc., Rockford Ill.) When commenting about "the way of the heathen" with their IDOLS, the prophet Jeremiah stated; "They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not; they must needs be borne, because they cannot go." (Jer. 10:5) In heavily populated Catholic countries like Spain, Mexico, Italy, Ireland, and others, the wafer-god of Rome is frequently paraded through the streets, as droves of devout Roman Catholics flock together to get a glimpse of the blind, deaf, dumb and crippled god which must be carried because it cannot walk under it's own power. What a grievance to the heart of God this must cause. The priests of Rome deceive their own people into believing that God Almighty is an IDOL of bread!

"To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like? They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he maketh it a god: they fall down, ye they worship. They bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place, and he standeth; from his place shall he not remove: yea, one shall cry unto him, yet he cannot answer, nor save him out of his trouble." Isaiah 46:5-7

Burning the Heretics
    During the Dark Ages, the period of time when the Roman Catholic Church held sway over much of the world, thousands of innocent men and women were imprisoned, beaten, tortured and burned alive for (among other things) refusing to acknowledge the "Eucharist" as being God. These were the times of the Catholic Inquisitions. Among those who were put to death for being a "heretic" was John Huss. Streams of Civilization, a Christian history book whose compilation was sponsored by the Institute for Creation Research reports; "By 1401 he [Huss] was questioning the Roman Churches belief in transubstantiation. This is the belief that the bread and wine in Communion becomes the actual body and blood of Jesus when taken by a believer. Huss believed that Communion was to be a memorial service until Jesus returned." [Mary Stanton & Albert Hyma, Streams of Civilization (Arlington Heights, Illinois: Christian Liberty Press, 1992), p. 375. Emphasis added.] After Huss was literally chained to the stake (with wood piled up to his neck), he was then asked to repent of his "errors", upon which he replied; "What error should I renounce, when I know myself guilty of none? For this was the principal end and purpose of my doctrine, that I might teach all men repentance and remission of sins, according to the verity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ: wherefore, with a cheerful mind and courage, I am here ready to suffer death." [John Foxe, Foxe's Book of Martyrs (Springdale, Pennsylvania: Whitaker House, 1981), p. 133. Emphasis added.] This is not "slander" against Catholicism. It's history. Many more examples could be given of the Roman Catholic system sentencing people to death for refusing to acknowledge a wafer of bread as being "God". Those who chose to believe the words of God's precious Book instead of the words of the Catholic Inquisitors, were in constant danger of being put to death. Such were the consequences of standing for the truth. NOWHERE in the New Testament do we find Christians being given the authority to kill their enemies. If the Roman Catholic Church is truly a "Christian" institution, from where did it get it's authority to horribly torture, mutilate and burn it's enemies? The Lord Jesus Christ taught us to love, bless, pray and to do good to our enemies (Matt. 5:44). Doesn't the Catholic Church know this? When Peter (whom the Catholic Church claims to be the first Pope) literally attacked a man and cut off his ear, Peter was rebuked of the Lord (see Matt. 26:51-53). Why didn't the Dark Age Popes obey this rebuke and pass these instructions to their inquisitors? That's an easy one. The Roman Catholic Church is NOT the Body of Christ. It's the "Body" of another motivating spirit. A spirit which chooses to blatantly replace God with a image of bread and then burn-alive those who disagree with its blasphemy.

A Mass or a Memorial?
    The truth is, John Huss was RIGHT! The Lord's supper was instituted by Christ to simply be a memorial until his return. It was the Lord Jesus Christ himself who said; "... this do in remembrance of me." (Luke 22:19) The first letter to the Corinthians reported; "For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come." (1Cor. 11:26) Obviously, John Huss knew these verses of Scripture, and it cost him his life. But, the sad fact remains that it was Mr. Huss who was executed by the Catholic Church for teaching what they perceived as "heresy". Who is really the "heretic" here anyway? It's Rome who teaches that a wafer of bread must be worshiped as God. It's Rome who teaches that the Mass contains the BODY, SOUL and DIVINITY of the Lord Jesus Christ. It's the Roman Catholic Church who teaches that a thing made by the hands of man can be changed into God. It's Rome who teaches that it's okay to drink literal blood, even though this is forbidden by both the Old and New Testaments (see Gen. 9:4, Lev. 3:17, 7:26-27, 17:10-14, 19:26, Deut. 12:16&23, 15:23, 1 Sam. 14:33 & Acts 15:28-29) It's the Catholic hierarchy that teaches that the Creator of the Universe can be put in your mouth, swallowed, only later to be "cast out into the draught". By now it should be CLEAR who the real "heretics" are!

    The Lord Jesus Christ said; "... my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed", later explaining; "... the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." (John 6:55&63) The fact that the Lord Jesus Christ did not literally mean to eat and drink his LITERAL flesh and blood is verified by other Scriptures. The apostle Paul admitted that the "meat and drink" of Christ was spiritual when he stated; "Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers ... did all eat of the SAME SPIRITUAL meat; And did all drink the SAME SPIRITUAL drink; for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ." (1 Cor. 10:1-4) In John 7:37 Christ said; "... If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and DRINK." Was the Lord making a reference to his literal blood? Don't be silly. John 7:38 says; "He that BELIEVETH on me, as the scriptures hath said, out of his belly shall flow living water [the Holy Spirit]." The Lord Jesus Christ is received by BELIEVING on him, not by eating and drinking something that has supposedly been transformed into his body and blood. With over a billion members in the Roman Catholic Church who believe they can EAT "JESUS" to win God's favor, it truly is ... a MASS DECEPTION.

"For such an high priest [Jesus] became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needeth NOT DAILY, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did ONCE, when he offered up himself." Hebrews 7:26&27
